SUMMARY:

The Technology Implementation Manager is at the intersection of our customers and technology, working with both application teams and end-users to implement new products and utilize user feedback and market data to recommend improvements to both process and tools. The incumbent in this position will possess in-depth knowledge of the Educational Technology (EdTech) landscape and demonstrated competency with technology implementation, training & communication, and integrating customer feedback. The Technology Implementation Manager will be responsible for ensuring customer success and managing customer expectations related to all technology products in DRC’s portfolio once they are released to the field.

 

The position involves regular interaction with cross-functional teams and various departments within DRC, collaboration across all IT domains and business units, and requires excellent communication and relationship management skills to influence teams and customers while successfully implementing technology products and applications.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage with new and existing DRC clients to increase customer success, drive adoption and optimization of new technologies, and create awareness of available products and solutions.
  • Proactively analyze and evaluate customer needs and market trends to ensure DRC technology solutions meet the needs of our customers and have the flexibility to be configured for multiple opportunities and contracts.
  • Identify implementation targets, timelines, communication plans, and repeatable implementation practices.
  • Provide support and act as a liaison between IT Product and Program teams related to product implementation, readiness, rollout plans, and communication with internal and external customers - ensuring all stakeholders have the awareness, skills, and knowledge required for successful implementations.
  • Collaborate with internal IT and business teams to design and implement effective training approaches and processes, including training sessions and training content.
  • Implement and maintain feedback processes, providing insights to executive and product development teams on opportunities to improve user experience, differentiate our product offerings, and increase adoption rates.
  • Actively seek opportunities to improve client communications and relationships.
  • Work in conjunction with DRC Product Owners and Scrum Teams to align development roadmaps and priorities across all DRC systems and technology services.
  • Identify, track, and help resolve cross-portfolio dependencies and conflicts.
    • Collaborate with IT senior management in support of emerging work intake, request vetting, and prioritization processes across DRC’s technology portfolio.
  • Provide consistent and effective implementation status communications to IT leadership and DRC business stakeholders utilizing standard dashboards, project reviews, scorecards, and other reporting.
  • QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 7+ year’s business experience in positions of increasingly greater responsibility to include business analysis, solution design, product management or other information services functions.
  • Extensive experience with initiating and managing projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Experience making sound decisions that align with corporate and client strategies and goals.

  • Preferred Qualifications:
     
  • 5+ years of EdTech industry experience. 
  • Professional certification and/or Master's degree preferred.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Atlassian, Google suite, and applicable data analytics tools.

  • Critical thinker who can solve customer problems in creative ways and provide new ideas to the team as to how we can improve our customers’ experience.

  • Effectively manages and juggles various responsibilities simultaneously while successfully setting and meeting deadlines.
  • Has a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to accept constructive feedback.
