We use preventive techniques to maintain a safe and secure environment, within our stores, and distribution centers. A role within the AP Asset and Design team means being a part of a dynamic and diverse team that is responsible for design elements in our new stores, distribution centers and remodels that promote safety, security and deter theft. These design elements include but is certainly not limited to designing the camera systems, merchandise protection options, intrusion systems, AP spaces, and perimeter controls. Here, you will apply a wide range of skills including strategic communication and presentation, training, project management, analysis, organization and collaboration.

As a Lead Business Partner- Segmentation you will build and evolve an overall vision and strategy that positively impacts the AP business in our existing stores and deeper research on active sites in unique markets. You will lead, support and execute cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation to deliver results across the enterprise. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to explore and evaluate small format/unique reinvestment sites and provide recommendations on risk levels and the security controls needed for store success from a REACH (Racial Equity Action and Change) standpoint. This will require you to use innovation and evolve existing processes and pioneer new ideas to drive business efficiencies and results, specifically in primary markets as identified by Properties Stores segmentation. You will utilize data to identify emerging trends, measure success and drive continuous results. You will lead various aspects of criteria as the need arises.

About you:
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Build strategies grounded in data and clear understanding of AP vision and the collaboration needed to align on common goals
  • Experience influencing key business partners and senior leadership, without authority
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills (root cause critical thinking) and conflict management skills
  • Ability to identify and implement process efficiencies
  • Project and process management/ownership experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively with partners across multiple teams and pyramids at HQ, Field teams and other external partners.
  • Change management skills to set a clear vision, gain buy in, and implement new practices
  • Operate in an ambiguous and rapidly changing work environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to travel for up to 30% of the time


Preferred Requirements:
  • Retail experience in Stores, Loss Prevention, Real Estate, Construction, Store Operations, Property Management or Corporate Finance
  • Advocacy for diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Engagement with Employee Resource Groups
