Associate Engagement Manager, Talent Partnerships & Influencer Marketing, Level 4

About us:

A role with Talent Partnerships + Influencer Marketing (TPIM) means you will be a part of our Creative Collaborations team where our role is to bring incremental value to - and reflect the values of our brand, business and guest by working with inspiring, inclusive and resonant partners.

As an Associate Engagement Manager for TPIM, you will build and foster relationships with internal and external partners to plan, create and lead our project roadmaps and drive the executional needs that will deliver deeply human and connected activations that meet our campaign goals. You will be a support in partner engagement with focus on managing expectations of how we work, while looking for new ways to improve upon and continue to build equity within the TPIM team. You will work closely with our external agency to activate our team's strategic roadmap, activating and managing content in flight and overseeing and supporting our budget management to ensure we are creating work on time and within budget.

You will motivate and inspire the teams to meet their milestones of the work throughout the process and to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while fostering a culture of collaboration across the organization. You will be an influential partner and seen as the go-to point of contact for internal and external partners for TPIM.

Job duties may change at any time due to business need. Additionally, you will:
  • Define and maintain project plans, with ability to proactively identify challenges and define solutions to maintain success of the team and work for both bespoke and Target Fam work
  • Lead partner in key activation of all executions, managing blink links, content planning calendar, direct product links and inputs for measurement and reporting results
  • Maintain and support the governance principles and engagement model of TPIM ensuring interaction with team, partners and agency meet the team's guidelines to meet key initiatives
  • Support partner in agency interaction, through ongoing connections and management to meet needs and expectations for timely, on budget and effective activations
  • Responsible for budget management across all campaigns and through monthly forecast the project, including daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual budget management, and communication to our finance partners
  • Facilitate connections to business affairs in support of Target Fam initiatives and act as the central support lead on onboarding and initial engagement for new talent that joins the collective as well as ongoing briefing and activations of work
  • Lead in sample and gifting management for the TPIM team, including comms with agency partners, communication plan and execution of sample needs
  • Manage engagement with focus on building trusting and collaborative relationships with key Marketing teams and external agency on behalf of the TPIM team


About you:
  • 3+ years Account, Project Management, or equivalent experience
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills, able to connect across the organization to clarify and set clear expectations
  • Self-starter that has strength in building relationships, connecting teams and driving projects forward
  • Identifies gaps and challenges and takes a strong lead in determining action plans to keep teams moving
  • Detail oriented, ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects in a faced pace environment with a consistent and accurate output
  • Builds trusting and collaborative relationships with peers, marketing partners and external agencies
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is ($49,700) to ($89,500).
