A role in Construction means leading the execution of store and distribution center projects. From large program rollouts to unique special projects, or large ground-up construction, you'll help manage the scope, schedule, and budget for all Target construction projects, including adhering to the project timeline, coordinating and overseeing the onsite construction process and turnover. You'll keep all of the players and partners aligned with effective communication between vendors, general contractors, field leadership and project teams.

As a Senior Field Manager, you will work closely with senior leaders in Construction in partnership with a cross-functional leadership team working to drive change, and ensure continuous improvement based on the business need. In this role, you will be assigned a team of Owner's Site Representatives/Contract Owner's site Representatives (OSRs/COSRs), who will look to you for leadership, training, development and evaluation. It will be your responsibility to efficiently utilize the team to drive the best results. You will create, maintain and coordinate with your team to execute all assigned projects. With strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills, you will oversee and evaluate 3rd party contractors, suppliers, and vendor relationships; adjusting teams/project assignments as needed. You will be responsible for communicating program expectations while monitoring and ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget. You will maintain involvement from project start through to the guest-ready and turnover phase. You will identify, develop and implement new processes in a timely manner. You will maintain strong organization and communication, interpret architectural, engineering and contract documents. In this role you will be responsible for creating construction proposals, reports, schedules and utilizing technical tools like Smart Sheet, Slack, Yammer etc. to be an effective and efficient leader. You will also identify the need for process improvement for Field team members and key partners; and the Construction Team in service to enterprise strategy and goals. As a leader on the Construction team you will work with senior leaders and peers to advance the construction program, which may include captaining initiatives, collateral duties and/or cross-functional teams. You will be a champion and advocate to drive Target's workforce development goals in the industry.

About You:
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in retail construction
• 5+ years of progressively complex construction management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, Smart Sheet experience a plus
• Requires extensive travel
• Four-year degree preferred
• 5+ years of direct supervisory experience preferred

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $81,300 to $146,400.
