Analyst, Sr. Pricing & Programs
Provide support in the development, execution, analysis, and reporting of pricing and promotional programs offered to customers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understands and provides detailed and strategic analysis with recommendations to best leverage price, freight revenue, sales discounts, sales allowance, cash discounts, floor planning, direct marketing programs, non-floor planned payment terms, credit line increases, incoterms or contingent liabilities to most effectively drive customer satisfaction, market share and profitability.
Support the fiscal month, quarter, year-end close process, and compliance with SOX controls as required.
Prepare quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations.
Administer and ensure accuracy of changes to the SAP pricing procedure.
Calculate and process payments to customers, as required, based on program guidelines.
Communicate effectively with customers and internal personnel regarding program details.
Provide monthly analysis of pricing & program actuals as well as financial performance relative to business plans.
Proactively analyze pricing & program data to uncover issues and trends.
Develop and maintain program expense projection models and assist in the projection process.
Collaborate with business division marketing, sales, and finance personnel to support pricing and program decisions and analysis.
Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policy, and relevant legal regulations.
Provide requested ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed to support the business.
Identify and drive process improvements within the Pricing & Programs team.
Special projects and all other duties as assigned.
Provides support to Pricing & Program Analysis leadership, as well as external and internal customers.
Coordinates with and supplies information to other Pricing & Program Analysts assigned to specific businesses
Uses influential leadership skills cross-functionally and within team to improve processes, increase team effectiveness and drive efficiency. Trains and provides functional mentorship to less experienced team members.
College degree in accounting, finance or equivalent.
5+ years’ experience in accounting/finance required. Pricing experience is a plus.
Individual should have a growth mindset, be detail oriented, with good customer service and communication skills and demonstrate strong analysis and systems aptitude.
Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, and the ability to effectively interface and build relationships with various departments and management levels and stakeholders.
Microsoft Excel and Word are required.
Previous QlikView reporting, SAP is a plus.
