IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN – FULL-TIME

Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid (Legal Aid) is seeking a full-time IT Support Technician for its Minneapolis office. The IT Support Technician is a member of the technology team and reports to the Director of Information Technology (IT). The team also includes a Network and Database Administrator. The team’s purpose is to ensure the smooth operation of computers, software, and miscellaneous hardware in delivering legal services to disadvantaged Minnesotans.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Apply the principles of Legal Aid’s Racial Justice Values Statement in all interactions
  • Accept and take ownership of IT support requests by prioritizing, diagnosing, and driving resolution, working with the team on more difficult requests
  • Log Help Desk contacts using Jira Service Desk
  • Enforce Legal Aid IT policies by communicating with staff members when necessary
  • Perform basic Active Directory/Azure Directory administration
  • Provide backup for Legal Server case management system
  • Maintain smooth operation of Legal Aid IT facilities
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess a great customer-facing presence and attitude
  • 2+ years of support experience with Windows 10 operation system and Microsoft 365
  • 1+ years of experience building or maintaining computers and peripherals
  • Ability to perform problem resolution with IT systems
  • Ability to learn new technology, software, and processes as they are deployed
  • Broad understanding of network systems architecture
  • Excellent organization and ticket documentation skills
  • Self-motivated and a team player
  • Diverse economic, social, and cultural experiences preferred

SALARY: $53,353 to $63,233 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits. Benefits include family medical and dental insurance, life insurance, vacation, and sick leave.
