As the Director of Commercial Operations, you will...

Work closely with strategy, sales, client management and product at Roundel. Your team is part of the Roundel Strategy and Business Operations Team and is responsible for the go-to-market strategy of all products and capabilities, developing rollout strategies, commercializing the products, and working hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams too test and pilot new features. You will have an integral role in managing a team of Sr Managers, Commercial Operations, as well as leading cross-functional projects in both innovation & optimizations, to grow revenue against Roundel capabilities and products. We are looking for a candidate with a solid media and advertising foundation, a project management skillset, and proven leadership skills.

A successful candidate will be an integral member of the Roundel Strategy and Business Planning Team, specifically leading Roundel's commercialization team.

Job Duties:
  • Manages a team of 4+ Commercialization Strategists
  • Oversee the develop and analysis of new monetization strategies, partnerships, go to market approaches, scaling / upsell strategies and features to increase the value proposition for advertisers and revenue for Roundel
  • Helps team to optimize formulations and process, as well as troubleshoot when the need arises
  • Develops deep partnerships with functions across Roundel and works with other leads to ensure staffing and prioritization of resources
  • Recommends areas to optimize further, and helps socialize and train others across the organization
  • Drives work streams & decision making with a "general manager" mindset
  • Communicates cross-functional project updates across the organization and to upper management.
  • Helps develop multi-year product roadmap with support from other business leads
  • Supports leadership in developing and executing against our long-term strategic plans

Who You Are...
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 12 years of experience in Sales Strategy, GTM Strategy, Competitive Intelligence, Management Consulting, Program Management, Product Management, or equivalent experience in an organization.
  • Experience with leadership in change management.
  • Experience of cross-functional stakeholder management and leadership through influence with the ability to present to executives with clear communication.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills, attention to detail and project management skills
  • Ability to synthesize disparate and conflicting data into strategic narratives and recommend actionable insights with the ability to straddle between details and higher-level implications of critical business issues.
  • Ability to lead complex operational and strategic cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.

  • Client service mentality and a willingness to collaborate openly with other functions

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is ($113,800)to ($204,900).
