A role with Process Operations means a big opportunity to apply your logistics, supply chain and fulfillment experience to improve the strategies that fuel behind-the-scenes processes like fulfillment, replenishment and inventory accuracy. Use your talents and experience with advanced proficiency on specific subject matters to apply established standards, practices and processes, lead projects within your department, and participate in large projects across the enterprise. Demonstrate self-direction, detailed problem solving, independent judgement and decision making in order to drive results for Store Operations.

As a Senior Business Partner- Transportation and Distribution, you will:
  • Work closely with Transportation teams to optimize trailer schedules for stores
  • Build relationships with HQ and Field business leaders to collaborate on unresolved trailer issues
  • Be the voice of stores by following up with Transportation and Distribution on trailer quality feedback based on mysupport data and trends identified through feedback and data analysis
  • Prepare weekly reporting on trailer performance for Leaders and Operation Directions
  • Be accountable for PUD (Preferred Unload Delivery) schedule process and holiday week trailer schedules for stores
  • Reduce pin locks not changed, trailers not unloaded and store modifications to trailer unload schedules
  • Work closely with HQ partners around DC Realignments and impact to stores
  • Influence peak schedule strategy development across cross functional teams to support stores workload and safe backrooms while balancing inventory flow and carrier capacity.
  • Champion Target's Purpose, Beliefs and Behaviors across teams and while delivering upon business opportunities
  • Job duties may changes at any time due to business needs


About You:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of experience in retail operations or process management
  • Experience influencing key business partners
  • Works independently and is accountable for work within job area
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
