A role within Third Party Risk Management & Compliance (TPRM&C) means you will manage third party risk to Target through maintaining risk-based requirements for vendors that work on behalf of Target. You will oversee each phase of the vendor lifecycle including risk escalation, remediation and vendor monitoring.

Position Overview:

As a Third Party Risk Consultant for the Third Party Risk Management and Compliance (TPRM&C) team, you will:
  • Complete due diligence assessments on new potential seller for the Target + Marketplace as well as reassess current vendors on a risk based cadence. Due diligence assessments including Reputation, Experience, Financial Health.
  • Provides expert analysis of identified risk(s) and delivers a packaged product to Target + Marketplace Acquisition team with detailed risk information that allows Target to properly evaluate vendors. All risk(s) are ranked as high, medium, or low based on predetermined criteria with supporting evidence.
  • Perform ongoing monitoring of current vendors that align with the due diligence categories. Provide support to the Target + Marketplace team to ensure alerts or changes in the vendor profile that may impact the business are addressed.
  • Utilize systems and tools that support the due diligence functions, including but not limited to Lexis Nexis Due Diligence, Rapid Ratings, CLEAR and Dun & Bradstreet.
  • Identify risks and drive continuous improvement efforts impacting seller due diligence through partnerships across Target and work with Third Party Risk Management & Compliance leaders to mature the Third Party Risk Management program.

About You:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work independently; strong sense of personal accountability and self-motivation
  • Advanced thought leadership and consulting services to support program development
  • Strong research and investigative skills
  • Excellent problem solving and logical reasoning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work in a highly collaborative and ambiguous environment
  • Ability to influence partners across multiple business units/pyramids
  • Proficiency in Archer eGRC
  • CRVPM 1, 2, 3 and/or 4
  • Advanced PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
