Working within the Promo Ops team, your mission is to ensure the successful execution of enterprise wide promotion strategies with Merchants and Strategy partners impacting millions within the Pricing and Promotions Center of Excellence ("PPCOE")

As a Sr. Promo Business Partner, you'll consult on and provide insights about promotional offer strategies to ensure operational success. You will build relationships with our PPCOE Strategy partners, Merchants, and several operational and execution teams such as Promo signing, Site Merch Ops and Store Ops. You'll also develop a strong partnership with Marketing to bring offers to life for the Guest. The goal is to eliminate promo setup issues creating more value and capacity for our team and partners, reducing store friction, mitigating financial impact to Target and ultimately doing what's best for guest.

As a Sr. Promo Business Partner, you'll take the lead to develop new and retool existing operational processes and best methods in partnership with product, promo strategy and Merchandising teams.

You will analyze operational data in excel, Greenfield and Domo to identify opportunity areas for improvement and process streamlining. You will communicate findings to leadership in order to shine light on friction areas and develop action plans, influence process or product changes and support the change management of large team initiatives.

You will partner with our Promo Support team to develop and onboard new support processes as strategies and products change. You will coach and direct our promo support team providing context on strategies and impacts of various promo setup outcomes. You will also lead and engage in troubleshooting novel promo setup issues in order to eliminate an issue or standardize a new support process.

You will develop new prevention methods to ensure promo plans and promo setups execute accurately.

You will play an integral role during the holiday season; partnering closely with Promo Strategy, and several execution teams to develop and deliver the near flawless execution of our promotional events.

You will translate complex concepts and processes into knowledge documentation. Additionally, you will lead the communication, training and implementation of these new methods.

You will use supporting data, your knowledge and operational mindset to be an advocate for our team and our partners for improvements to promo processes and products.

About you:

4-year degree or equivalent work experience
3-6 years relevant work experience
Strong operational and process development skills

Experience developing knowledge and training documentation

Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills
Assertiveness and strong initiative

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-Starter, ability to work independently
