A role with Experiential Operations means a big opportunity to continuously elevate guests' instore experience to new levels of awesome. Whether it's Visual, Technology or Events, this team focuses on the processes that ensure a guest experience far above anything the competition can offer by nurturing Target brand love and loyalty at the store level. Use your talents and experience with advanced proficiency on specific subject matters to apply established standards, practices and processes, lead projects within your department, and participate in large projects across the enterprise. Demonstrate self-direction, detailed problem solving, independent judgment and decision making in order to drive results for Store Operations.

As a Lead Business Partner - Stores Guest Experience, you will lead strategic planning routines with a focus on identifying Team Member behaviors, tactical tools and the delivery of strategies that drive successful behavioral change in our stores. You will identify current behavior gaps and create new ways to gain buy in and acceptance of our Stores Enterprise Service Model strategy. You will support, co-create and play a strong role within cross functional teams to ensure stores exceed guest service expectations no matter how our guests choose to shop Target. You will be knowledgeable about strategies within and outside Store Operations to ensure guest experience change management principles are intentionally incorporated to drive behavioral change and overall guest loyalty. You will act as a Store Operations leader in enterprise cross-pyramid initiatives, ensuring store impact is communicated and understood in order to drive the best decisions for Target Corporation. You will establish comprehensive project plans and hold partners accountable to ensure all deadlines are met. While supporting our Stores Enterprise Service Model Strategy, you will also lead and coordinate a total cross-functional Guest Experience forum to advocate for our culture of service and operational excellence. You will assess and identify and influence ways to reduce store expense, rework, simplify processes, that allows us to improve or innovate how we deliver a differentiated guest experience across stores.

Additional responsibilities include:
  • Consult with Senior Leaders on changes impacting their teams focusing on data analytics and behavior adoption
  • Change planning - plan, guide and control the people related activities in large change initiatives based on data analysis. This includes working with Learning & Development, HR, and Corporate Communications clients
  • Change readiness - define change plans to address change impacts throughout a project
  • Communication and engagement - support people impacted by the change through communication and engagement strategies
  • Stakeholder Management - identify sponsors, advocates, change agents, and impacted end users that can make or break a change effort. Understand what motivates end users, and their change commitment. Develop a plan to mitigate risks. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

About you:
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 6-9 years of work experience in culture / brand development preferably in retail
  • Ability to build strategic vision and drive organizational change
  • Experience in large scale team member behavior change
  • Experience in designing or executing programs that increase guest loyalty
  • Experience influencing key business partners and senior leadership, without authority
  • Project and process management/ownership experience
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction & solve problems
  • Ability to establish and maintain cross-functional working relationships across the enterprise
  • Strong leadership, critical thinking, and conflict management skills
  • Microsoft Office proficient

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $81,300 to $146,400.
