St. Catherine University and the Academic Advising and TRIO teams invite applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant position.

The Academic Advising and TRIO teams care about our students' academic success! We help students adjust to life at St. Kate's and understand the requirements of their degree. We also direct students to additional campus resources to help them succeed throughout their degree program. The Administrative Assistant will welcome students to our office and either provide them with assistance or direct them to the service that they need.

Responsibilities include:
  • Meeting and greeting students, listening patiently and compassionately to their needs and requests.
  • Answering questions, making referrals and scheduling appointments.
  • Support advisors and supervise student workers
  • Communicate and maintain ongoing positive working relationships with staff in collaborative offices.
  • Utilize a variety of software programs to enter and update data, track participation, compose and edit correspondence, track budgets, create and update spreadsheets, etc.
  • Gather information, run and prepare department and program reports, calculating statistics.
  • Keep confidential information strictly confidential.
  • All general office responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications
