A key analytics tool is a hybrid Android/iOS app that uses Ionic, Cordova and Angular to offer graphical views of performance and operational metrics combined with timely communication and feedback capabilities. We are revisioning this app as a Progressive Web App using React and want you to help us build the next generation of this important application.

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to bring groundbreaking thinking and a visionary approach to our team as we build out a Progressive Web App (PWA) of a Team Member facing performance metrics application that helps our leaders in stores and headquarters manage the operation of 1900+ stores and work of 300,000 Team Members. We need an engineer who wants to use their skills, experience, and passion to work in an entrepreneurial environment combined with the stability and commitment of a Fortune 40 company at your back.

As a Senior Engineer you will have an opportunity to:

• Learn Target's specific tech stack
• Establish standards, best practices, and patterns for you and the team to deliver clean, scalable, and maintainable code
• Architect and develop the best technical design and approach
• Utilize your excellent React, JavaScript and testing skills to build enterprise-class mobile web applications
• Mentor junior engineers and help grow our mobile web capability in Stores and Supply Chain
• Work with dynamic data using JSON and REST web services
• Drive continuous delivery using Test or Behavior-Driven Design, code review, static analysis, continuous integration, automation, and functional testing
• Use profiling tools to measure and improve performance
• Advocate for technologies, frameworks, design patterns, processes, and guiding values of the domain architecture
