Description:
About us:
Target is an iconic brand, a Fortune 50 company and one of America's leading retailers.

Target Merchandising is evolving at an incredible pace. We are constantly reimagining how this $70 billion retailer offers the innovative, guest-inspiring items that Target is known and loved for. Our goal is to deliver exceptional value, quality and style to elevate Target as the premier retailer in a competitive global marketplace. Through intelligent and progressive business strategies that make the most of Target's resources and partnerships worldwide, Merchandising works across product categories to create a localized shopping experience online and in our 1800 stores. Are you a creative problem solver who loves to see your work translate into real results? Can you collaborate effectively, execute a plan efficiently and positively influence how Target chooses and presents the right product in the right place at the right price? If so, you will have success on one of our dynamic teams.

A role with Space, Presentation & Transitions (SPT) means you're on a mission to create better store space and experiences for our guest while maximizing sales. We are responsible for ensuring the right item is on the right shelf in the right store. On the Space side, we do this by using analytics to determine the appropriate footage for each assortment for every store ("adjacency"). Each store's assortment is assigned to a planogram (POG) which is developed in Presentation to ensure the localized assortment meets presentation objectives and is associated to the correct location in a store. We believe that making increasingly better space allocation and presentation decisions will increase sales, improve guest satisfaction and reduce out-of-stocks. Here, you'll partner with and manage cross-functional project teams in Merchandising, Store Design, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Store Operations and Non-Retail Procurement from strategy to execution to achieve an inspiring and convenient in-store guest experience.

As a Senior Manager SPT Space Analytics & Insights, you will shape the Space & Presentation strategy for the future stores of Target through the following:

  • Team Development: You will provide coaching and development to strategic and analytical team members, focused on translating data into insights and recommendations. You will coach your team to make the right localized decisions for all stores. In addition, you will be a champion of diversity & inclusion for the Space, Presentation and Transitions team.
  • Strategy Formulation: You will support the development of space insights and recommendations for the future stores of Target - New Stores, Remodels, and Small Formats. You will partner with and influence senior leaders across Store Planning and Design, Space Presentation & Transitions, Finance, Merchandise, and Visual Merchandising teams to ensure Target's enterprise space strategy comes to life.
  • Capability Building: You will partner with Data Sciences to develop new space & presentation capabilities, generate insights, and forecast the financial impact of change.

We'll support you along the way with robust onboarding, as well as personal and career development to help you grow.

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $81,300 to $146,400. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Target cares about and invests in you as a team member, so that you can take care of yourself and your family. Find competitive benefits from financial and education to well-being and beyond .
