The Office is currently seeking a Service Desk Specialist in the Administration Division of the Office. The successful candidate should be comfortable in a professional environment and must have the ability to multitask, be highly organized and detail‑oriented. This position provides technical support for end-users on workstations, laptops, printers, and peripherals.

You will join a dedicated group of Information Technology (IT) professionals that work to support all system devices and applications used by the Office. Primary responsibilities include first point of contact for Service Desk incidents responding to questions and actively managing the actions that result in a timely solution. This position will maintain accurate equipment inventory, assist the Desktop Team with physical inventory controls, be the communication link between all facets of IT and the rest of the Office, and fulfill staff equipment requests, including preparing equipment for trials.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • First point of contact for Service Desk inquiries and issues on Help Line and Help Desk systems
  • Account creation and maintenance. (Microsoft Active Directory, MS Teams, and MS Exchange, Adobe, Document Management, Case Management Databases, Everbridge)
  • Assign and track equipment in the asset management system
  • Onboarding new staff with IT training overview
  • Applications training for staff
  • Document management system maintenance
  • Maintaining office VOIP phones and accounts         
  • Help Desk maintenance, creating and maintaining custom fields and forms, license management, and updating knowledge base solutions
  • Assist with content updates for the intranet
  • Produce and host All Staff meetings and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Events via Microsoft Teams and WebEx

Minimum Qualifications

  • Technical degree in computer science or related discipline with at least two years related experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple competing projects and demands
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
  • The ability to work as a team
  • Detail-oriented and have a strong work ethic
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

To be considered at the Legal Assistant 4 (LA4) level applicants must have 4 years related experience.

To be considered at the Legal Assistant 5 (LA5) level applicants must have 8 or more years related experience.
