Quality Assurance Technician - Day Shift - HammerHead
Document audits throughout the day from outside supply chain and inside processes (sewing, decanting, machining, welding and assembly).
Daily communication with outside supply chain and back to the HammerHead Team.
Entry of data stimulated by audits of components.
Continuous part flow through inspection and the production lines.
Helping troubleshoot issues as they arise if related to parts.
Learn and assist with internal processes as they affect quality.
Maintain and drive the non-conforming inventory to get it turned quickly to completion.
Certain product testing as needed.
8am – 5pm working hours, Monday – Friday.
Use of inspection lab and equipment to inspect and verify parts and products from inside processes and outside suppliers.
Rapidly changing demands, schedules, and deadline.
Willing to travel to suppliers if needed to review and work with them to assure good parts.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Adobe experience.
Quality auditing, processing, and documenting.
Preferred working knowledge of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, comparator, and other measuring equipment.
At least 2 years of work experience in a quality related and driven environment.
