A role in Financial Planning & Analysis means providing insight and guidance to support Target's strategic growth strategies and financial decisions. You'll deliver objective and data-driven insights to business owners and finance leaders and you will play an important part in developing Target's long-term and annual financial plans and in providing analysis supporting enterprise strategies.

As a Sr. Financial Analyst, Service Center Finance, you will be responsible for planning and forecasting service center expense and associated agent staffing requirements. Target's service centers represent an extremely important guest touch point with service center agents serving as the eyes and ears of Target. Accurately projecting demand is integral to providing the right balance of great guest service and efficiency. You will work directly with your assigned service center leader(s), playing an important role as a trusted resource who provides a clear picture of expense plan and resource requirements and effectively articulates the implications of changes in strategy or trend to both expense and resource needs. To assist the service centers in staffing efficiently, you will be responsible for forecasting demand at an annual, monthly, weekly, daily, and intra-daily level across the agent network. In addition, you will be responsible for strategically evaluating workload drivers and emerging trends to optimize staffing. This will include collaborating with key partners whose business decisions directly impact contact volumes to evaluate and provide transparency to associated impacts and workload rationalization opportunities.

About you:
  • Four year college degree or equivalent work experience
  • Three to five years work experience
  • Comfortable understanding, analyzing, and synthesizing large amounts of data
  • Strong modeling skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to succinctly communicate with and influence senior service center leaders
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively, both within own team and across teams
  • Ability to adjust to changing landscape, systems, and processes and willingness to drive the change when necessary to achieve better outcomes
  • Team player who brings people together to achieve common goals
  • Contact center or Baybridge contact center software experience a plus


This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.
