Medical Weight Loss - Lead Physician

Allina Health System is seeking a full-time Medical Weight Loss - Lead Physician at our office in Coon Rapids, MN. This position requires a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited medical school. Must have two years of experience in Obesity Medicine. Must also have 24 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) evaluating, treating, and providing long-term follow-up and manage obesity and chronic medical conditions associated with it; (2) working with surgical weight loss team to help patients lose weight and maintain it after bariatric procedures; (3) providing acute, preventative and chronic medical care for a diverse population of patients suffering from eating disorders; and (4) management of eating disorders. Requires a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Minnesota. Must be Board certified in Family Medicine. Must also be Board certified in Obesity Medicine.
