Job Title – Butcher/Meat Cutter – Fulltime - Hours 7-3, Monday-Friday
Qualifications - One plus years experienced meat cutting knife skills. Ability to identify different meat cuts. The ability to listen and follow directions. Basic knowledge of math, weights, and measurements. A good attitude towards continuous improvements of food safety systems. The ability towards continuous improvements of food safety practices. Must be twenty-five or older to apply. Must have transportation. Must be able to lift at least one hundred pounds.
Responsibilities and Duties – The use of hands and arms constantly for pinching, simple gripping, grasping and push/pull with hands up to 300 pounds on a trolley, operate a vibrating tool frequently. This position is highly active and requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, and twisting. Food knife skills and safe handling. Timeliness and punctuality of attendance is mandatory, because of the nature of the line coordination with other employees. Strong attention to detail. The employee will lift and/or move items up to 100 pounds. Maintain a clean and safe work area. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to a moving carcass on a rail system.
Salary – Butcher/Meat Cutter - $25.00 per hour
