A role on the Supply Chain Operations Integration Team means being central to the Global Supply Chain transformation. This team enables the GSCL functional teams to operate as an integrated supply chain to deliver on the evolving needs of the business. Specifically, the team drives and governs major cross functional multi-year outcomes to support Target's growth.

The Integration team has a mix of business experience, thought leadership, dependency awareness, process development and problem solving skills that allow all team members to identify business challenges and quickly deliver solutions utilizing established frameworks and relationship networks. The Integration team provides an ideal opportunity to work within a highly collaborative, cross functional team managing multiple complex relationships and interactions simultaneously with leadership and operational teams. Your specific expertise-whether it's process development, planning, stakeholder management, or connective problem solving -will be felt well beyond the boundaries of the supply chain organization, positively impacting Target team members and guests alike.

This role will work in service of the Engineering and Activation team by representing the interests of all functions performed within the organization. The role will work alongside every function within supply chain and broader enterprise teams to ensure that work activities to physically and virtually design and activate a building are understood and executed. The role will also anticipate dependencies across all partners.

About the Job:

As a Lead Program Manager on the Integration Team, you will work in service of delivering large inter-connected outcomes for Global Supply Chain and Logistics. This role will primarily focus on building and activating Receive Centers which are new distribution site types for Target. It will also have the opportunity to evolve and take on additional future projects beyond Receive Center.

In this role, you will serve as the single threaded leader on the Integration team operating with a matrixed reporting relationships across many areas of GSCL. You will be responsible to ensure centralized planning, develop repeatable frameworks, define paths to resolve conflict, and track and monitor milestones. This will be completed in partnership with their leadership team and other key stakeholders across GSCL. In addition, you will
  • Aggregated planning across initiatives or programs with multiple work streams
  • Accountable to prepare for investment funding and business case evaluation
  • Prepare and provide program level aggregated communication and progress reporting
  • Develop a tracking process for program level investment tracking
  • Work closely with construction and sourcing teams to activate new distribution infrastructures
  • Develop all needed inputs to define operational inventory approach and ramp plans
  • Develop all needed inputs to define operational process, training, and change management
  • Manage and govern centralized decision, issues, risk that could materialize on the program
  • Partner with product and technical teams to gain general understanding of integrated business technology solutions
  • Partner with product and technical teams to develop coordinated test plan
  • Manage and track cross-functional capability maturity planning and development needed to realize program outcomes
  • Create & maintain playbook for rapid deployment

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

About you:
  • 5+ years of experience, preferably in an area of Supply Chain or Logistics
  • Bachelors degree in supply chain, project management, engineering, business administration
  • Project management experience
  • Experience leading large multi-year complex integrated projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence team members at all levels of the organization
  • Experience working in an matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross - functional partnership and alignment from multiple business teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills; ease at working with senior leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to objectively manage conflict and drive resolution toward what's best for Target
  • Demonstrated understanding on how to operationalize new solutions for team members (HQ and field)
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate change and identify change management to drive large scale advancement of transformation


Desired Requirements
  • MBA or advanced degree in supply chain field or logistics
  • Experience with technology and demonstrated ability to communicate between business and tech teams
  • Experience working in agile framework
  • Ability to provide feedback and develop other leaders
  • Ability to think in terms of future state, challenge the status quo, and identify path from current state to future state


Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $81,300 to $146,400. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Target cares about and invests in you as a team member, so that you can take care of yourself and your family.
