A role in

Food Safety, Quality, & Regulatory (FSQR) means supporting processes that help Target succeed by consistently delivering safe, high quality and compliant food and beverages. It also includes any related project that supports Target FSQR's role. As a Sr. FSQ Specialist, you will administer systems and applicable processes to support ongoing and new business initiatives. You will:
  • Onboard new vendors and facilities into Target systems
  • Manage information requests for Food Safety, Quality & Regulatory information by partnering with internal team and external business partners
  • Administer 3rd party system by ensuring accurate and current status of data
  • Generate and analyze reports on food safety and quality monitoring activities to internal team
  • Cross-train as back-up for other critical processes including triaging and assigning investigations for urgent guest complaints
  • Aide in developing best methods and process improvements

About you
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelor degree, preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong system/technology aptitude & proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Able to manage & prioritize multiple tasks or projects, delivering consistently against timelines
  • Quick learner, with strong self-initiative, and able to work with limited direction to complete assignments
  • Responsible, detailed-oriented and organized
  • Demonstrated collaboration and teamwork skills


This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $17.79-$32.02.
