We prioritize relationships, fuel and develop talent by creating growth opportunities, and succeed as one Target team. At our core, our purpose is ingrained in who we are, what we value, and how we work. It's how we care, grow, and win together.

Our high-performing teams balance independence with collaboration, and we pride ourselves on being versatile, agile and creative. We drive industry-leading technologies in support of every angle of the business, and help ensure that Target operates smoothly, securely and reliably from the inside out.

As a Software Engineer on the LAMDA product team, you will build and operate products supporting multiple Transportation capabilities. If you've ever received a Target package via UPS, FedEx, or another carrier then we've been involved. Our ever-expanding Carrier Rating products are used to determine which carrier should deliver a package to a guest. We also are the source of truth for Rates to support International and Domestic Carrier Movements throughout Target's supply chain. Beyond Transportation Rating, our team designs and implements products to facilitate movements from a Target store to a Mix Center Hub or USPS and Capture Forecasted Network Carrier Capacity. We're fortunate to be on the cutting edge of how Retailers ship from store (or any node) to a guest's home. On the team, you will collaborate with other engineers and teams to design and implement system architectures that are highly scalable, highly available, and fully fault-tolerant for Target's future Transportation technology ecosystem.
