The Talent Analytics team
  • Integrates into the business as strategic HR analytics partners and anticipates and uncovers stated or unstated needs.
  • Listens and empowers team member and external stakeholder voice
  • Provide reporting solutions to help inform on the current state of the business and help facilitate process at scale
  • Uses our analytics expertise to test, measure, analyze, understand and answer various business questions
  • Connects our understanding across business and HR to deliver data driven products and solutions
  • Provide meaningful insights and recommendations


About the role:

As a Senior Business Consultant on the Talent Analytics team, you will develop a solid understanding of customer need and will apply business process knowledge and data and analytics to develop, recommend and communicate timely, accurate as well as relevant insights to support business objectives.
  • Responsible for ad hoc analysis, preparation and presentation of insights leveraging existing products, in order to help answer customer questions and support their objectives.
  • Utilize problem solving skills to help uncover the right question, analyze and solve as well as influence and educate your audience.
  • Collaborate with Talent Analytics Partners to provide consult and support to customer groups as well as managing multiple projects at one time including, ad hoc analysis, and smaller project work.
  • Using written and visualization best practices to prepare deliverables in a consumable and relevant way for the right audience, while ensuring that the appropriate story is being told.
  • Work in partnership with the rest of the Talent Analytics team to surface opportunities to develop new products or enhancements to current portfolio
  • Expertise in HR processes and concepts, understand the impact on analysis and recommendations
  • Deliver on the HR priorities and Talent Analytics Roadmap, helps to devise the execution plan
  • Create and provide, weekly, monthly and quarterly deliverables in support of customer and team
  • Manage the intake for customer segment and work within an agile environment, participate in planning and retro ceremonies as voice of customer.


About you:
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with data, analytics, consulting, storytelling
  • Analytical skills and ability to judge and quantify results.
  • Ability to synthesize datasets and use data visualization tools to build a compelling story
  • Independent and accountable for own work, with guidance on objectives
  • Active listener and ability to break down needs into actionable work
  • Genuine curiosity with how things work; motivated, self-starter
  • Excellent written and verbal and visual communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint


This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $65,600-$118,100.
