As a Senior Art Director with a Latinx audience focus, you will have a primary role in championing ideas and shaping marketing campaigns that help build, deepen and maintain meaningful connections with our Latinx guests. You'll leverage your creative skills, experience and audience knowledge to concept and execute work that both celebrates and reflects the Latinx community, while infusing all work with a brand presence and approach that is unmistakably Target. Specifically, you will take the lead in the translation and transcreation of the visual and art direction aspects of campaign work across multiple channels-including broadcast, video, social, digital, direct marketing, and in-store experiences. You will also be expected to have experience and demonstrate a strong taste level in executing photo/art direction, graphic design, and typography through every phase of production, while working closely in collaboration with a specialized team of Copywriters, Designers, Creative Directors, Project Managers and Strategists.

Additionally, your responsibilities will include advocating for greater empathy and a deeper understanding of Latinx Guest needs, as well as being tasked to stay current with evolving cultural trends and to think strategically about how to show up for this audience while delivering on the business goals and objectives of Target.

We will support you along the way with individualized onboarding, as well as ongoing personal and career development, to help you grow as a strong Senior Art Director and leader. About you:
  • 4-year college degree and/or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of creative experience with examples of Multicultural work preferred
  • Experience developing compelling content and campaigns for LatinX audiences preferred
  • Spanish as a first language with fluency in English
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating breadth of design and photo art direction expertise
  • Strong conceptual skills and expertise in typography and use of photography
  • Strong knowledge of CS software and the Mac platform
  • Flexible to travel (weekends included)

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $65,500-11800.
