CONTENT STRATEGIST SUPERVISOR - ACQUISITION

Work Location: Standard, Hybrid or Work from Home

Position Description

The Content Strategist for Acquisition is responsible for developing and executing strategic content across the consumer journeys for the Medicare and Individual and Family segments of UCare-including all associated external facing campaigns focused on prospecting and lead generation. This role will supervise Communication Leads and Sr. Communication Leads on the acquisition team who support all acquisition channels along the consumer journey. Additional supervision/direction and co-management is required with agencies and vendors supporting acquisition efforts for go-to-market omnichannel campaigns-specifically for messaging and calls to action.

• Direct Senior Communication Leads and Communication Leads supporting acquisition efforts for consumer-facing marcom and sales enablement materials driving prospects to captive sales team members and brokers.

• Develop strategic content for desired segments produced in ‘best practices' for the segments preferred channel (as part of consumer journeys).

• Copywriting expertise for advertising across all channel mixes, including but not limited to, traditional: broadcast TV, print, terrestrial radio, and out of home; digital: digital and streaming audio, display, social and native advertising, email journeys, paid search, etc.

• Hire and oversee designated Marketing staff. Deliver new hire and ongoing training. Schedule regular 1:1 meetings with designated Marketing staff to provide feedback and identify staff development opportunities to enhance the knowledge and skills of staff.

• Execute and manage messaging briefs for go-to-market campaigns and journeys, and coordinate messaging with agency partners to align with their deliverables for consistency across campaigns.

• Assist in development of creative briefs internally, and externally with agencies, supporting consumer campaigns and journeys.

• Works closely with the Digital Content Strategist to support content needs for campaign landing pages, email journeys, and other various forms of content digital.

• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's or advanced degree in communications, or a closely related field strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Experience

At least three years of experience with brand messaging in a corporate or non-profit marketing communications. At least three years of copywriting, including go-to-market advertising related to product marketing across multi-channels. Proficient in MS Word and Adobe Acrobat, specifically keeping source of truth and utilizing mark-ups and track changes within is required.

Preferred Experience

Health care communications experience preferred. Directing messaging strategy to writing teams a plus. Experience working in a government-regulated industry is also preferred. Proficiency in Adobe InCopy desired - helping to expedite review process.
