Beyond our world-class service centers, there are many important challenges to be met in other FRS teams. Payments and Financial Operations strategically curate and enable payment acceptance for Target, working with internal and external partners to envision and advocate for the future, manage payment expense, proactively prevent fraud and manage the accounting and controls for FRS. FRS Operations and Product Team plays at the intersections of process and technology, and Service Center Shared Operations (SCSO) which develops comprehensive service delivery strategies for our service centers. FRS Product Design manages and grows loyalty, frequency and other marketing programs for all Payment Cards (RedCard, GiftCard). The Credit Strategy and Compliance team manages the credit card program and related interactions with our bank partner, and includes the Credit Strategy, Credit Risk Underwriting and Compliance functions.

As a Sr Analyst Compliance Ops you'll use your skills, experience, and talents to help ensure compliance with financial laws, regulations, and policies relevant to Target's RedCard portfolio (private label Target Credit Card, Target Mastercard, and Target Debit Card).

As a Sr Analyst, you will provide operational support for compliance processes, such as:

  • Review and approve written responses to escalated consumer complaints, analyze complaint trends, create trend reporting, and implement enhancements to complaint tracking processes.
  • Coordinate annual compliance trainings, collaborate with subject matter experts to create content, manage the implementation and delivery of training modules, and track and report training completion status.
  • Collaborate and consult with subject matter experts to research questions, gather updates on processes, and track and report on issue resolution.
  • Coordinate regulatory audits, exams, testing, and other oversight activities with our external bank partners. Work with business partners to produce documents and data, draft responses to inquiries, track requests and deadlines, and share final reports and outcomes with leaders and business partners.

About You:
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years applicable experience in compliance or related discipline
  • Familiarity with consumer financial laws and regulations, preferred
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to independently prioritize work, balance multiple tasks, manage tight deadlines, and hold others accountable to deadlines
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex or sensitive matters both verbally in meetings and in written formal communication
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify risks and anticipate problems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without authority, build productive relationships, and collaborate effectively
