Roundel is Target's entry into the media business; an advertising sell-side business built on the principles of first party (people based) data, brand safe content environments and proof that our marketing programs drive business results for our clients. As Lead Account Management, Roundel; you will work to develop a multi-channel, integrated marketing approach, inclusive of media and creative, across digital channels & platforms for seasonal and inclusive marketing campaigns for Roundel's clients. You will partner with the Target Brand & Category Marketing team to ensure alignment with Roundel's Inclusive Marketing and key Seasonal Moments strategy. You will build audience strategies that are integrated across marketing and lead the execution of key dedicated audience campaigns. You will translate marketing strategy, client's goals and guest insights into actionable and impactful campaigns that will drive authentic engagement with our guest. This role requires strategic thinking skills, team collaboration and the ability to influence both Roundel clients and enterprise partners. You are client-centric individual that has highly productive and professional relationships, both internally and externally. You will use your strong communication skills, strong customer orientated skills and media experience to tell the story of Roundel's key differentiators in the marketplace. You are the key client contact for high-level planning to key Seasonal campaign program level strategies. You will deliver highly-integrated and effective media plans for Roundel's inclusive marketing programs. You will attend key client meetings and consult to understand category trends and marketing needs. You will own authorship and inputs for client campaign proposals. You will present strategic recommendations to senior leadership and internal partners, based on your program objectives, through compelling and effective guidance on specific media tactics and audience strategy. As part of program development, you will build audience strategies, media mix allocations, creative and media strategies that are aligned to client's priorities and rooted in category and brands insight, as well as leverage historical media performance. You will stay up to date on industry trends both in the retails and digital advertising landscape, looking for opportunities and tests to bring to your client to further elevate the level of service you bring to your client. You will develop overarching routines and processes, specific to seasonal and inclusive marketing to enable streamlined workflow across the organization. You will partner closely with various cross-functional teams; including but not limited to Reporting & Insights, Analytics, Sales, Trading & Ad Ops, Channel Development, as well as enterprise partners to deliver and execute effective results. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and you are someone who is comfortable with ambiguity, passionate and habitually curious about the digital space and is always looking for creative ways to extend campaign messaging and objectives through various media channels. You have the ability to see the big picture as well as tactically problem solve to remove roadblocks from moving business forward and are proactive as providing resolution.

About You:
  • Bachelor's Degree; Minimum 6-10 years of proven digital media planning, marketing experience or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding and experience within Digital Marketing and Media
  • Hands on experience with media planning systems and tools; such as Operative One, DCM, DFP or a similar ad serving platform
  • Ability and passion to drive results and thrives in an ambiguous environment
  • Ability to articulate and defend creative & media direction to internal and external stakeholders
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills
  • Superior time management and multitasking to handle multiple concurrent projects and campaigns
  • Exceptional understanding of the full media planning process-from strategy and plan development to execution
  • Ability to build partnerships and maximize relationships with both internally and externally

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $85,400-$153,700 Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Target cares about and invests in you as a team member, so that you can take care of yourself and your family.
