A role with Target In-Store Marketing means an opportunity to shape our guests' holistic experience of our marketing content inside our stores. You'll drive the success of both forward-thinking projects and best practices that have a global impact on In-Store Marketing's activities. Bring your exceptional skills for prioritization to allocate and manage projects to meet budget and timing parameters. Here, you'll balance efficiency with effectiveness as you oversee the production and logistics for all In-Store Marketing deliverables.

Overview

A recognized store experience marketing leader who can inspire, frame, and operate a design innovation and production team, with a strong understanding of 3D tools to bring creative concepts to life and to the next level.

Function

You will lead a team of 4 design innovation and print production professionals, supporting all Style categories (Apparel, Accessories, Beauty, Home). In addition to leading and having full accountability for your team, you will take the lead on high-profile projects, champion innovation, develop best practices in collaboration with your peers and partners.

Job Responsibilities

• You will bring the digital know-how to unlock SEM's deep design and creative bench.

• Develop and define the vision and strategy for a best-in-class SEM design innovation studio.

• Work closely across design, production, creative, planning, visual merchandising, store design, store operations and project management teams to build alignment to SEM goals.

• Actively guide teams to reach target goals offering mentoring and support where possible.

• Partner with cross-functional leaders on improving processes and practices to increase quality and accuracy, ensure cross-pollination of technical and design best practices.

• Create a positive and inclusive culture within the team; embrace diversity, create space for new ways to solve problems, recognize contributions of team members and create opportunities for growth and development.

• Provide guidance to ensure that the team has what they need to develop and implement a method for effectively tracking project status and metrics to report on key results.

• You will be a key member and partner in the broader mission of digitally transforming the store experience marketing creation process.

Job Requirements

• Experience in designing, prototyping, printing, and manufacturing.

• Proven success, or relevant experience, in driving team results through strong leadership.

• A demeanor that welcomes feedback, enjoys working in a collaborative, iterative, and agile process.

• Knowledge and understanding of 3D tools and technology.

• Strong creative and technical design skills.

• Experience building, running, and leading a successful creative studio team; ideally with multiple projects and priorities.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver on projects from beginning to end with knowledge of how a pipeline supports the process.

• Ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and straightforward manner.

• Ability to motivate teams and promote initiatives.

• Strong interpersonal skills & thrives in a team environment.

• Shown problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Experience in managing change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in retail design, product design, industrial design, digital arts, or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, and training.

• A portfolio with relevant projects demonstrating high level execution.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $85,400 to $153,700. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Target cares about and invests in you as a team member, so that you can take care of yourself and your family.
