A role on the Pay & Benefits team means providing insight and guidance to support Target's strategic team member decisions. You'll deliver objective and financially-focused insights to Benefits business owners and finance leaders. You will be a critically important resource for long-term and annual financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.

As a Senior Manager, you will be a key part of the Benefits Finance & Analysis team, leveraging data, analysis, and financial insights to help support the Pay & Benefits team.

We'll support you along the way with robust onboarding, as well as personal and career development, to help you grow as a Lead Benefits Analyst. The exciting part of retail? It's always changing! About you:
  • B.A/B.S degree in accounting or finance, MBA, a plus
  • 6-8+ years of relevant Finance experience (including FP&A experience)
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, project management and organizational skills
  • Highly skilled in managing complex data sets and varying perspectives to ultimately reach a final recommendation
  • Superior leadership skills with enthusiasm, initiative and a passion for results
  • Demonstrated leadership in strategy development and influencing business partners
  • Experienced in collaborating across departments/business units and driving results through collaboration
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; tailors message by audience, negotiate consequences, handle crisis, setbacks and conflicts constructively and diplomatically, and provide essential information to the right people at the right time; relationship-building aptitude
  • Experience or knowledge in the Total Rewards space. Knowledge of typical benefits such as 401(k), Short-Term/Long-Term Disability. Experience working through complex compensation scenarios related to accounting and/or tax implications of base compensation, bonuses, leaves, vacation, etc.


This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $85,400-$153,700. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Target cares about and invests in you as a team member, so that you can take care of yourself and your family.
