Roundel is Target's entry into the media business; an advertising sell-side business built on the principles of first party (people based) data, brand safe content environments and proof that our marketing programs drive business results for our clients. The Sales Account Executive is a key part of Roundel's sales team responsible for growing revenue from new and emerging client relationships across our lite portfolio. You'll provide the analysis tied to the financial forecast and pipeline health of the business along with developing strategies to grow shopper and national ad revenue across Roundel's self-service offerings.

Primary responsibilities include:
  • Prospect, qualify and pitch new and emerging clients to drive revenue growth across your assigned segment of business as well as assisting other sales team members on lead generation and new client prospecting
  • Partner with clients and internal partners on revenue growth opportunities including testing strategy, marketing outreach and client contact strategy for your vertical
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance and the Sales Force Administrator to develop reports that will create transparency to all levels of the business
  • Presenting insights derived from reporting analysis and provide recommendations to sales leadership on gap fill strategies will be critical to reduce financial risk
  • Lead the sales forecast for your vertical along with pipeline reporting that measures the health of the sales activities in the business including communication to Roundel Leadership including headlines and insights around wins and losses
  • Provide sales analytics for your vertical to inform strategies and priorities to deliver on sales goals


About you:
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience thinking critically and making strategic decisions
  • Superior financial and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to collaborate and navigate through complex organizations - team player
  • Embraces change and growth
  • 3-5 years analytics, digital media sales, agency and/or marketing experience
  • Programmatic media understanding and experience
  • Paid search familiarity and experience
  • Proven track record of revenue growth activity
  • Extensive knowledge of the digital media environment, trends and technologies
  • Some travel required


This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $81,400-$146,500 Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Target cares about and invests in you as a team member, so that you can take care of yourself and your family.
