About This Opportunity
Be a part of a team working to create the most informed team in retail by helping develop and create new insights capabilities. This includes working across Merchandising to drive new capabilities with insights while helping drive business results.

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $65,600 to $118,100.   • Partner with the Lead Consultant and Merchandising teams to develop, coach, and teach reporting and insights around financials, competition and guest dynamics that provide business insights and category management to improve their business. Apply analytic results to strategy and tactics development while helping to institutionalize insights into key business routines.
  • Develop quarterly roadmaps of key focuses and engagements while tracking usage metrics and outcomes.
  • Synthesize findings from all relevant sources while serving as a power user and go-to expert for all company, competitive, and guest data to create a robust toolbox for Merchandising.
  • Serve as a liaison between the business and the technology product teams to ensure development roadmaps are in-line with goals, key needs are defined in backlogs, and that the insights toolkit is being leveraged appropriately across assigned business.
  • Partner closely with Merchandising teams to understand key business needs, gain empathy, and ultimately be the expert on data/insights needs.
  • Work with 3rd party partners and onsite resources to administer access/training/and key ad-hoc reporting needs for key insights tools to maintain a robust training and support model for teams.


Requirements
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Two to four years of relevant business experience
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making and communication skills
  • Strong conceptual skills and ability to translate concepts into actionable insights and tactics
  • Ability to assimilate information quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to synthesize and clearly communicate highly complex findings to focus on critical issues and actionable opportunities
