FRS includes several service centers focused on the quick and seamless resolution of a variety of issues. From RedCard® Guest Services to the Client Support Center, we pride ourselves on infusing every interaction with that signature Target service that guests and team members alike have come to expect. We directly support Target's bottom line through building guest loyalty as the retailer of choice and taking care of our team members so that they can get back to the work they do best, from headquarters to stores to distribution centers.

As a Sr Auditor Global Vendor Ops, you will protect Target's interests by assessing and mitigating vendor risks in the areas of physical/data security, financial, administrative, reputation and work processes. You will balance virtual and in person audits of vendors who handle highly sensitive Target & Guest information.

Job Duties include:
  • Performs remote and on-site vendor audit/assessments of Target vendors
  • Identifies risks and ensure resolutions are implemented that meet Target standards/requirements
  • Documents and maintains historical files of audits
  • Develops and applies an understanding of Target's vendor audit process and procedures
  • Develops an understanding of the business processes for all FRS guest-facing and material vendors
  • Develops reports to support audit/business partner reporting needs
  • Conducts timely and professional communication with internal and external business partners on audit and project status, findings, and resolution
  • Communicates business issues and recommendations to management, verbal and written
  • Works with Internal Audit to facilitate its audits of vendor audit procedures and findings. Ensures remediation items are resolved by established deadlines.
  • Works with key Target stakeholders to validate vendor security and compliance assessments through on-site testing.
  • Continuously assess and improve the vendor audit process to ensure it is up to date with industry practices to protect Target.
  • Assumes additional ongoing responsibilities and special projects as assigned to enhance the vendor management processes within the department. Provides expertise to projects outside of the direct span of control
  • Hybrid work required (location in MN or AZ only)


About you:
  • B.A./B.S. degree in business or equivalent experience
  • Strong leadership skills including interpersonal, communication, negotiation and conflict management
  • 3-5 years' experience as a relationship manager, operations supervisor or equivalent audit/compliance, or risk management experience
  • Ability to apply Target and regulatory standards appropriately for the type of work performed by the vendor
  • Ability to build excellent relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management experience
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking ability
  • Investigative mindset
  • Ability to travel 30 - 50% of time (domestic & international)
