About You
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years' of network engineering or network security tooling (Zeek, Suricata, Firewall)
- Demonstrates strong domain-specific knowledge regarding Network Security Monitoring
- Demonstrates expertise in analysis of network protocols and captured network traffic
- Effectively communicate engineering solutions through detailed high- and low-level diagrams
- Demonstrates expertise in analysis and optimization of systems capacity, performance, and operational health
- Maintains deep technical knowledge within areas of expertise
- Stays current with new technologies via formal training and self-directed education
- Strong problem-solving & troubleshooting skills
- Experience coaching/mentoring junior developers
Additional skills we are interested in:
- Scripting proficiency: Python, Bash
- Experience with programming languages: Java, Go, Apache Groovy
- System Configuration Management and Orchestration: SaltStack, Ansible
- Experience with Unix/Linux
- Experience with: Docker, Gradle, SpringBoot
