As a Sr. Brand Manager, Beauty, you will facilitate and lead the end-to-end process of developing and maintaining owned brands. You will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team for new, existing, or refreshed owned brands. This includes facilitation of the cross-functional meetings, governing the timing and action, escalating risks and delays, driving accountability, and monitoring key performance indicators. Likewise, you will be accountable for leading and conducting analysis on brand performance, which includes ongoing tracking of brand financial performance to inform action. You will maintain working knowledge of applicable government regulations and competitive category understanding. In close partnership with Subject Matter Experts, you'll also manage the activation of the owned brand portfolio, which includes leading the creation of briefs for various capabilities, such as completing packaging briefs for each Owned Brand. In addition, contribute to captainship roles as needed to support ongoing evolution and development of the team's capability and operating model.

About You:
  • 4 year degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 6 - 8 years' experience in Brand Management
  • Experience working in the Beauty Industry
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills
  • Ability to be an effective team player and manage relationships with team and key business partners
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Ability to influence and gain alignment across cross-functional partners and present to leaders.
  • Comfortable operating in an ambiguous and rapidly changing retail / business environment
  • Detailed problem-solving, independent judgement, and decision-making skills
  • Fosters an environment that champions diversity, equity & inclusion
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $ 85,400 to $153,700.
