A role with Stores Replenishment means a big opportunity to leverage operational experience, process design and insights to create strategies that fuel growth and drive process efficiencies, keeping stores in stock to drive guest engagement by ensuring they find what they are looking for (and more).

As a Director, Stores Replenishment, you will build, lead, coach, and mentor a team of operations engineers and business partners who represent the store team members in making their lives easier to serve our guest. In this role:

  • You and your team will build a 5+ year replenishment operational plan that will meet our growth trajectory and capacity needs to serve our guest
  • You will influence Supply Chain, Finance, Data Sciences, TTS, and Merchandising leaders in the development and deployment of strategies to drive positive impact for our guest and store teams.
  • You will interact directly with key senior leaders across the enterprise in stores and HQ and you will focus on driving strategic network operations alignment across the necessary teams.
  • You will plan, model, and iterate on store operational processes to drive in stocks, safety, and efficiency to better serve our guest through partnership with our network planning teams.
  • You will ensure that you and your team translate and bring to life the necessary operational skills, experience and expertise required in driving the store's strategy and growing capacity for Target's total network to serve our guests.
  • You will solve operational problems with data-driven solutions and store insight to create an efficient operating process for our store teams.
  • You will ensure operational initiatives are validated and proven to enable network capacity, deliver on store productivity, minimal to no guest disruption, and create an overall positive experience for team members and guests.
  • You will keep Supply Chain and/or Stores leadership informed of what stores are saying, act as an advocate for stores, and address escalated questions or concerns using your strong knowledge and understanding of how stores operate.

About you:

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of leadership experience with demonstrated ability to create, foster and develop diverse and inclusive teams
  • 3-5 years of experience in retail stores, operations, network planning and analysis
  • Comfortable in ambiguous and rapidly changing work environment
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategies, change management, and ability to translate operational acumen into stories
  • Strong verbal and written communication, including ability to negotiate, manage differing points of view, understand key stakeholder needs at all levels, and influencing senior level leadership
  • Innate desire to lead by empowering team members through interactions, teaching/training and collaboration
  • Masters or MBA desired

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $119,500 to $215,100.
