The Owned Brand Strategy & Operations team within OBS&D is comprised of portfolio managers, project managers, operations managers, and technology and data analysts. A role within Strategy and Operations, Project Portfolio Manager means working with courageous business leaders to forward their success by solving Target's most meaningful enterprise challenges for sustained growth. You will create, lead and manage a new capability of Project Portfolio management within our new operating model. A Sr. Project Portfolio Manager is responsible for co-creating the capability, building out the capability through pilots and tests, assisting in roll out, and managing the connective space between strategy and projects. This includes establishing and facilitating project portfolio prioritization routines, project intake & activation, portfolio analysis & scenario planning, and resource management. You will need to work closely with cross-functional partners within Owned Brands and the Enterprise.

The Senior Portfolio Manager for Project Portfolio Management (PPM) will play a key role in the creation and adherence to a priority/resourced delivery model for the end-to-end PPM Process. Over time responsibilities will include driving consistent routines for a specific pyramid, influencing leaders and CFT on portfolio prioritization and resource recommendations. You will need to leverage extensive knowledge of the business strategy, as well as key data and analytics, and other relevant data points to assess value, develop/drive business cases, and prioritize the direction for PPM Capability outcomes. You will need to cultivate strong relationships across the enterprise in order to drive collaboration and alignment with key partners and stakeholders across pyramids.

You will develop and actively maintain strategy roadmaps for prioritization and resourcing, technical needs, and process challenges to be delivered. You will be accountable to manage business objectives and key results, key metrics for PPM, as well as related business impacts.

About you:
  • 4-year college degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of retail experience or equivalent domain experience
  • Strong Collaboration including leveraging Power of influence with key business partners.
  • Work with ambiguity, Drive results with Cross functional partnerships
  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to influence peers, key stakeholders and leaders
  • Strategic mindset and bias for action with strong ability for strategic planning.
  • Strong program management background across complex and matrixed organization
  • Ability to foster diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Operate in an ambiguous and rapidly changing work environment.

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is ($85,400-$153,700).
