A role in Store Design means the opportunity to apply your innovative and sustainable design and technical expertise. Your work will ultimately help define the physical experience. the interactions and connectivity between the physical, digital and human elements Target develops for our guest, will evolve the brand image in store and ultimately support Target's business strategies. You'll interpret program and scope details to integrate them with interior and exterior site design and aesthetic for new stores, remodels and innovation projects.

As a Senior Designer, we are looking for a self-motivated and team orientated individual who is looking to work in a challenging, ever-evolving and fast paced environment. In this role you will help create communication tools across multiple programs, develop and adhere to schedules, and prioritize workload. A strong ability to synthesize complex information, a strong knowledge of design, competitive insights and design trends, along with the ability to suggest and create varied communication tactics and think strategically in 2D and 3D.

In this role you will participate and lead in the producing clear visual arts and technology that support the design efforts of new stores, remodels, and special projects. You will work with cross functional partners to transform design criteria and innovations into a cohesive and modern visual recap via graphic story-telling and thru deck creation.

Core responsibilities of this job are as follows, knowing these duties may change at any time in the event of evolving business needs.

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $65,600 to $118,100.00 Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Target cares about and invests in you as a team member, so that you can take care of yourself and your family. About you (skills and abilities):
  • 2 or 4 Year accredited degree in Communication Design, Graphic Design
  • High proficiency in Graphic Software, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and PowerPoint.
  • Strong design and technical skills (e.g. sketches, online annotations, Microsoft Office) to aid in the development of design and communication proposals that align with evolving and existing business strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills in relation to synthesizing information and associate one idea with another.
  • Self-motivated and high level of accountability to coordinate multiple projects; develop and adhere to schedules; prioritize workload; and work in a fast paced, challenging, and continually evolving environment.
  • 4+ Years relevant experience (Graphic Design in Architecture/Interior Design field preferred)
