ENGINEER

Tennant Company is seeking a FT Principal Development Engineer at our offices in Eden Prairie, MN. The Principal Development Engineer is responsible for working on different projects within IoT and Web Applications. This position is also responsible for defining, developing, and supporting the application needs for a variety of platforms. This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems and 5 years

related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must

also have 12 months of demonstrated ability (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) Application development using Java/J2EE/Spring/

Hybris/AEM/JavaScript (or)

MS Technologies; (2) Management of Git Repository Management build (CI/CD) Pipelines with Jenkins, Ansible, Azure DevOps, Chef,

Puppet or Terraform; (3) Build CI/CD pipelines and automation for various projects which involves deploying and Maintaining the Front-End & Backend portals for all the Team Members including infrastructure and application deployments for several business partners; (4) Integration from Cloud to On-premise systems or migrating On-premise onto Cloud; and (5) Analyze and test methods to automate and run daily activities efficiently using agile methodology to plan and execute work effort for projects accordingly.
