We are currently a hiring full-time Forklift Bodywork Painter.

$22-$27/hr

Your New Role:

• Responsible for sanding, grinding, and painting forklifts and lift trucks
• Handle the cleaning and preparation of the equipment before starting the painting process
• Maintain safe and efficient operations of the paint booth and sprayers
• Understand how cleaners, primers, and paints react on certain surfaces
• Ensure the finished results of the paint process meet Atlas Companies standards
• Maintain a clean work area, following all safety, EPA, and conduct rules
• Properly dispose of all waste materials, containers, packaging, and supplies
• Follow manufacturer guidelines on maintaining all tools and equipment, including the maintenance of paint booths and paint filters
• Manage inventory of necessary painting equipment
• Maintain a close working relationship with all teammates, including Rental, Service, Parts, and Customer Service Sales associates

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Experience with light maintenance repairs
• Experience using air power paint guns, grinders, sanders, and hand tools
• A willingness to learn and be trained.
• The ability to manage time and attendance. You must be dependable, self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• This position requires but is not limited to standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting to 80 lbs., routinely 20-50 lbs.
