A role with Stores Replenishment means a big opportunity to leverage operational experience, process design and insights to create strategies that fuel growth and drive process efficiencies, keeping stores in stock to drive guest engagement by ensuring they find what they are looking for (and more).

As a Director Store Operations - Preparedness and Replenishment Support, you will:
  • Build, lead, coach, and mentor a team of business partners who represent the store team member in making their lives easier to serve our guest.
  • You and your team will be responsible for preparedness plans and immediate support for stores facing business disruption.
  • You will be part of the Corporate Command Center's (C3) first response team to support store leaders facing situations like natural disasters, man-made disasters, and other business disruptions. These responses require urgent support and informative & actionable communication to Store Operations teams to ensure a coordinated support response.
  • You will collaborate on preparedness planning activities to improve the cross functional response to a store facing a business disruption, including working closely with teams in GSCL, Properties, Stores, and Human Resources.
  • Your team will provide ongoing operations support for COVID protocols that impact Store Operations. You will be responsible for communication across stores and headquarters teams.
  • Your team will support replenishment challenges for offshore locations and lead cross functional efforts to support the optimal process. Support will include work on specific offshore needs, replenishment support, freight flow support, localization support, and unique offshore needs.
  • You and your team influence leaders in Stores and support emerging issues requiring specialized support, including the need to find temporary solutions for additional inventory storage solutions. Solutions will include securing containers, sourcing off sites, and additional creative storage solutions.
  • You will work closely with Finance and Sr. Leadership to create long-term storage plans for stores.

About you:
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of leadership experience; demonstrated experience building and leading a diverse, inclusive and engaged team
  • 3+ years of experience in retail stores
  • Comfortable in ambiguous and rapidly changing work environment
  • Demonstrated skills in urgent problem solving
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategies, change management, and ability to translate operational acumen into stories
  • Skilled at forming business relationships and working cross-functionally across the enterprise
  • Strong verbal and written communication, including ability to negotiate, manage differing points of view, understand key stakeholder needs at all levels.
  • Experience supporting stores/field organization preferred

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $119,500 to $215,100. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Target cares about and invests in you as a team member, so that you can take care of yourself and your family.
