A role in Property Management means the opportunity to own a business and make strategic business decisions daily! As a Senior Program Owner - Property Management - Utilities Management within the Energy and Sustainability Team, you will own Target's relationships with our electric utilities and represent Target's priorities in the energy space. Job duties may change due to company initiatives and business needs, but include:
  • Manage relationships, ensure accountability, set expectations of, and act as primary point of contact with Target's electric utility partners.
  • Lead analysis on utility rate reviews to ensure Target is optimizing rate savings opportunities.
  • Leverage utility relationships to advocate for Target's and the Energy Team's priorities, including in support of financial and Target Forward and 100% renewable electricity goals.
  • Partner with Energy TMs, across PM, and with other Target teams to ensure consideration of projects' impact on the Energy Team's priorities and to identify utility-related project risks.
  • Internal partnership within Energy and across Target to loop in appropriate partners on new utility programs.
  • Support energy reliability efforts to address planned and unplanned outages, and new-account setups.


About you:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, sustainability, or energy-related discipline
  • 2-5 years' relevant work experience
  • Strong ability in relationship- and vendor-accountability management, in partnering across the organization and with vendors, and to influence with limited authority
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, set timeliness and meet deadlines
  • Desire to improve processes through technology and make programs more efficient
  • Strong analytical, financial, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong communicator that can collaborate and clarify to manage and set clear expectations
  • Proficient computer experience in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint


This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $65,600.00 to $118,100.00 Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Target cares about and invests in you as a team member, so that you can take care of yourself and your family.
