Work Location: Work from home, in the office or hybrid (in the office 3 or more days per week)

Position Description

This position is responsible for achieving enrollment goals in all UCare products by providing product education to potential members and professional referral sources. Knowledge of and adherence to all Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicare Marketing Guidelines and Department of Human Services (DHS) product contracts. Schedule and conduct presentations which require travel and occasional evening and weekend hours.

• Qualify leads, generate interest and inform prospective members about UCare's SNP Plans in a consultative selling style in an effort to enroll individuals in the plan.

• Understand and follow CMS and DHS requirements with regard to application processing timelines, sales events, outreach activities, unsolicited contacts and all other CMS and DHS regulations related to sales and marketing.

• Meet/exceed established enrollment goals and other department goals/expectations.

• Schedule and conduct sales presentations to prospective members and professionals via the telephone, webinar, face-to-face meetings, and small group meetings.

• Identify opportunities within the community to broaden UCare's SNP professional referral base by establishing and maintaining professional relationships and providing education to key contacts such as community advocates, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, county workers, clinic staff and other providers.

• Track all sales activities using Microsoft CRM 360 and other systems, as needed.

• Participate in sales strategy meetings and share information regarding successful strategies with the other members of the SNP sales team.

• Serve on committees and/or workgroups that support SNP products, as needed.

• Other projects and duties as assigned.


Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Work or health care related field; demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of degree. A current and unrestricted Minnesota Accident and Health Insurance license is required, or ability to obtain within six months.

Required Experience

At least two years of experience within the health coverage and/or health service delivery industry. Social worker experience, or experience working with seniors or people with disabilities. Experience developing and delivering presentations.

Preferred Experience

Relevant experience in health care/managed care and/or long-term care.
