Summary:
The primary responsibilities of this position are to evaluate and assist in the set up and implementation of variable data print, mailing, and adhoc projects for new and existing accounts. This position will prepare, and process client supplied files for variable data print production and deployment. Candidate for this team-based position must demonstrate knowledge of digital cut-sheet, digital continuous web and commercial printing with strong Customer Service skills as well as being detail oriented and possessing strong organizational skills and work ethic. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated knowledge of Quadient Inspire, Pitney Bowes PIOM, BCC Mail Manager, digital variable data applications, database programs and web design technology.
The Programming Support Analyst possesses the education, skills and experience to assist with light graphic design, file set-up and consultation for customers. These are billable services and the position will be required to assist customers directly and/or the Business Development Department.
Essential Position Responsibilities:
Assist in deployment of projects in a graphics design / variable print development capacity
Assist in supporting divisional overall project development and deployment
Position must deal with prospective and current customers in a professional manner
Uses design experience and expertise to help customers solve their printing needs
Assists in increasing penetration of existing accounts through other product & service offerings and servicing new departments and/or offices of existing key customers
Works with Business Development Sales Representatives and customers to understand, consult and recommend additional value-added services for customers communication needs
To manage and communicate effectively our timelines and project planning as a leader of variable direct marketing, printing, fulfillment, and web development
Preferred Qualifications
Quadient Inspire, Pitney Bowes PIOM, BCC Mail Manager and other industry software
Current working knowledge of postal regulations, digital and offset printing, account management and accounting practices
Working knowledge of Inkjet Continuous printing, i.e. Oce 3900
Word, Excel, Access proficiency
Knowledge of Online Proofing Software tools
Experience in variable data printing/mailing
Must be strong in grammar and composition
Must have good work history and references
Demonstrated ability to work quickly, neatly, while multi-tasking, ideally in a fast-paced environment
Proven record of focusing on quality and attention to the details
Design software, Internet software, order processing systems, project management software, spreadsheet software, word processing software, and mailing systems
Understanding of printing and/or the printing process
College degree, 2 to 4-year trade school certificate or equivalent experience preferred
Ability to perform on multi-faceted projects in conjunction with normal activities
Requires excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills as well as good trouble shooting and problem-solving abilities
Quadient Inspire, Pitney Bowes PIOM, BCC Mail Manager and other industry software
Essential Job Requirements:
