Here, your work directly supports the store mission to be the guest favorite through successfully developing and communicating the processes for operations, style and experience, new structures, new operating models and new technology, and utilizing workforce management activities for our nearly 2,000 locations nationwide. Store Operations manages and enhances the informational resources for researching and resolving operational issues, while guiding and communicating with the field teams and leaders who use them. A role with Fulfillment Operations means a big opportunity to apply your operations, logistics, and retail experience to improve the strategies that fuel fulfillment processes like Pickup, Ship from Store, and other upstream operations.

As a Lead Business Partner - Fulfillment Innovation you will be responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and driving operational innovation within Target's digital fulfillment business. You will help build roadmaps for people, process, and technology enhancements with respect to the guest experience as well as operational efficiency. You will understand the external landscape, benchmark performance, identify emerging trends, and apply this knowledge to our fulfillment innovation pipeline within Store Operations. You must be able to lead, support, and execute cross-functional initiatives from concept through test implementation. This includes transforming the future of Ship from Store, Pickup, and other Fulfillment businesses at Target. You will also be responsible for strategically influencing leaders and peers by analyzing data to provide meaningful insights, creating business cases, and developing test scenarios to determine proof of concept.

About You:
  • A four-year degree or equivalent experience in operations, business, strategy, supply chain, or related discipline
  • 6+ years of industry experience in ecommerce, supply chain, or retail operations
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; an ability to manage and adjust to multiple priorities
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and pioneer new ideas
  • Experience working with vendors to test, deploy, and scale equipment, technology and/or process innovation in a retail environment
  • Demonstrated project and process management/ownership experience
  • Knowledge of retail store operations, with experience collaborating across field and headquarters leadership
  • Experience translating business strategy, industry, competitive and consumer trends into a prioritized innovation pipeline
  • Passion for process improvement and safety
  • Desire to learn new things and deliver results


This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $85,400 to $153,700.
