Description:
About us:

As a Fortune 50 company with more than 350,000 team members worldwide, Target is an iconic brand and one of America's leading retailers.

Working at Target means the opportunity to help all families discover the joy of everyday life. Caring for our communities is woven into who we are, and we invest in the places we collectively live, work and play. We prioritize relationships, fuel and develop talent by creating growth opportunities, and succeed as one Target team. At our core, our purpose is ingrained in who we are, what we value, and how we work. It's how we care, grow, and win together

Target's distinctive brand love is infused throughout its many physical locations by the Properties teams. We have a direct and positive impact on the real estate, design, construction and maintenance of our stores, distribution centers and headquarters. Are you ready to help strategically grow Target's brand through leading-edge design, development, construction and preservation? Can you effectively balance the efficiencies of a large-design build company with the unique challenges and innovative solutions required by individual sites? Then take your place on one of our Properties teams, and help us make the most of Target's physical assets, both in the U.S. and overseas.

A role with our Remodel Performance and Operations Team means managing our largest capital investment to re-imagine our stores. The remodel program is transforming stores over a multi-year strategy with increased scope and segmentation. Your ability to identify underlying opportunities within performance and execution is critical to improving the guest experience while increasing return on invested capital.

As an Associate Project Manager within our Properties Strategy and Operations team you'll be responsible for the identification of underlying opportunities in our operations and process to improve the execution, guest experience and return on invested capital of the remodel program. Through exercising an enterprise mindset you will organize the development and build out of project plans to ensure that they are appropriately scoped, resourced and on track; challenging the status quo to deliver results quickly and consistently. You'll operate in an ambiguous and rapidly changing work environment to identify drivers of disruption during remodels, and partner with the CFT to proactively and re-actively improve guest experience and return on invested capital. You will build new program capabilities to enable program growth and scale by identifying the process, governance and development of control plans. You'll leverage your analytical mindset to balance the art and science by identifying, developing and monitoring program metrics to improve the remodel program.

About you:
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • +1-3 years of project management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas to an audience of various levels and businesses
  • Ability to work well with others and resolve differences of opinion
  • Strong project management skills
  • Preferred experience with Smartsheet, Greenfield and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
