Description:
About us:

As a Fortune 50 company with more than 350,000 team members worldwide, Target is an iconic brand and one of America's leading retailers.

Working at Target means the opportunity to help all families discover the joy of everyday life. Caring for our communities is woven into who we are, and we invest in the places we collectively live, work and play. We prioritize relationships, fuel and develop talent by creating growth opportunities, and succeed as one Target team. At our core, our purpose is ingrained in who we are, what we value, and how we work. It's how we care, grow, and win together.

Right on pace with Target's distinctive retail brand, Target Store Operations is continuing to transform the way it operates. Here, your work directly supports the store mission to be the guest favorite through successfully developing and communicating the processes for operations, style and experience, new structures, new operating models and new technology, and utilizing workforce management activities for our 1,800 locations nationwide. Store Operations manages and enhances the informational resources for researching and resolving operational issues, while guiding and communicating with the field team and leaders who use them. Are you a customer service enthusiast who can actively listen to many points of view and then visualize how they'll perform when operationalized in a store? Are you happy to partner with leaders as well as field team members who are often the experts on how well a process is working? Can you creatively envision more efficient processes and how they'll deliver a better experience for guests and team members? Do you possess the innovative mindset to question the status quo, and the confidence to work under varying degrees of ambiguity and well-informed experimentation? Then you'll have success on one of our dynamic teams.

A role within Fulfillment Operations means a big opportunity to apply your operations, stores, supply chain and fulfillment experience to continuously evolve Same Day and Next Day fulfillment processes in order to meet rapidly changing guest and operational needs.

The Fulfillment Operations Lead Business Partner - Prep and Pack will support improvements to our packaging and prep related process, helping forward objectives that deliver efficiency, sustainability, and speed for our guests. As a Lead Business Partner, you will:
  • Drive operational improvement in stores by updating processes, improving operational efficiency, elevating the guest experience and increasing profitable sales
  • Lead end-to-end initiatives where you'll utilize critical thinking, strategy, research, analysis, issue framing, benchmarking and communications to understand and influence the technology, process, and organizational change management aspects of Store Operations business opportunities
  • Use data, insights and research to make and influence a Target-before-team strategy that is cohesive with the enterprise needs
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners and peers to benchmark performance, identify emerging trends, best methods, tools, technologies and influence innovation
  • Represent Store Operations in enterprise cross-pyramid initiatives, ensuring store impact is communicated and understood
  • Pursue opportunities for continuous business development and innovation
  • Act as an advocate for stores and address escalated questions or concerns
