Des Moines Valley Health and Human Services (DVHHS), currently has a full-time opening for a Data Analyst. DVHHS serves Cottonwood and Jackson Counties. The Data Analyst brings the expertise of data analysis to the Public Health Department.  This person turns raw data into information and insights that allows the Director, Public Health Strategist and others to help make targeted service decisions around the health of Cottonwood and Jackson county residents. 

Minimum qualifications of education and experience for this position: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in statistics, mathematics, business administration, economics, computer science, management information systems or a related field or equivalent related experience and one year of experience related to data analysis OR Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in statistics, mathematics, business administration, economics, computer science, management information systems or a related field

This position is classified in Grade 13 of the DVHHS Compensation Plan with a salary range of $24.23 - $31.49 per hour, dependent upon the credentials of the successful candidate.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week with a full benefit package which includes Public Employee Retirement pension.
