A role in Indirect and Reverse Supply Chain means managing the inbound throughput and placement of the indirect materials that are required to operate all Target stores and distribution centers. This also includes the business management and logistics operations for guest returns. Reverse and Returns include the backward movement of all goods including logistics, secondary market sales, and damaged/defective product management. Indirect includes order execution and movement, warehousing/storage, operations such as facility and 3PL management and inventory management including demand management and forecasting.

As a Sr. Logistics Analyst, you will support the Indirect supply chain to deliver on key strategic initiatives for Target. You will be responsible for the operational support of the Indirect warehouses through project management, production planning, process review and development, and KPIs. This role performs additional responsibilities to improve processes, systems, operational performance, analytics, reporting and other duties related to the success of Indirect projects. The Sr. Logistics Analyst is a subject matter expert with respect to project planning, production planning, load planning, issue resolution, storage, and other logistics functions.

Principal Duties:
  • Supporting the IRL operations teams through continuous improvement, process design, production planning, and execution
  • Implement large scale solutions that address cross-functional gaps and constraints
  • Set performance plans and manage the execution of functional areas to ensure cost, quality, and throughput goals are met
  • Operate as a total business owner through both operational results and long term strategic initiatives


Job Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experiences
  • Highly flexible, willing to take risks, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments
  • Desire to learn, seek diverse approaches, and cultivate a collaborative work environment
  • Experience prioritizing and able to work in high intensity situations with tight deadlines


This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $65,600 - $118,100.
