Description:
About Us:

As a Fortune 50 company with more than 350,000 team members worldwide, Target is an iconic brand and one of America's leading retailers.

Working at Target means the opportunity to help all families discover the joy of everyday life. Caring for our communities is woven into who we are, and we invest in the places we collectively live, work and play. We prioritize relationships, fuel and develop talent by creating growth opportunities, and succeed as one Target team. At our core, our purpose is ingrained in who we are, what we value, and how we work. It's how we care, grow and win together.

Right on pace with Target's distinctive retail brand, Target Store Operations is continuing to transform the way it operates. Here, your work directly supports the store mission to be the guest favorite through successfully developing and communicating the processes for operations, style and experience, new structures, new operating models and new technology, and utilizing workforce management activities for our nearly 2,000 locations nationwide. Store Operations manages and enhances the informational resources for researching and resolving operational issues, while guiding and communicating with the field teams and leaders who use them. Are you a customer service enthusiast who can actively listen to many points of view and then visualize how they'll perform when operationalized in a store? Are you happy to partner with leaders as well as field team members who are often the experts on how well a process is working? Can you creatively envision more efficient processes and how they'll deliver a better experience for guests and team members? Do you possess the innovative mindset to question the status quo, and the confidence to work under varying degrees of ambiguity and well-informed experimentation? Then you'll have success on one of our dynamic teams.

A role with Fulfillment Operations means a big opportunity to apply your operations, logistics, and fulfillment experience to improve the strategies that fuel fulfillment processes like Pickup, Ship from Store, and other upstream operations.

As a Lead Business Partner - Store Fulfillment Criteria Development you will be responsible for building fulfillment space criteria in service of future growth and the bi-annual long range plan (LRP). You will work collaboratively with partners across Store Operations and Properties to set the Pickup and Ship from Store businesses up for success. This will include engaging with upstream GSCL partners, formulating decision trees and order of operations with Properties, as well as prioritizing space allocation with various enterprise partners. You will be responsible for influencing leaders and peers by analyzing data to gain alignment and improve processes and physical space for store team members. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in store design for Fulfillment operations, and advocating on behalf of Stores team member experience to drive business growth.

Core responsibilities of this job are described within this job description. Job duties may change at any time due to business need.

About You:
  • A four-year degree or equivalent experience in operations, business, finance, supply chain, or related discipline

  • Experience working with AutoCAD or other drafting related software
  • Demonstrated project and process management/ownership experience
  • Knowledge of retail store operations, with experience collaborating across field and headquarters leadership
