Summary: 

The Research Consultant provides overall management, coordination, and information handling for survey research projects and associated data collection activities for Customer Satisfaction and/or Employee Opinion/360 Feedback projects. The ideal candidate will be organized, focused, and comfortable working in a face-paced environment. The Research Consultant will work closely with Project Management staff to support current and potential clients. In addition, the incumbent assists in the proposal, design, and delivery of survey research consulting services, as well as survey development, sampling design, special analyses, preparation of reports, and giving presentations.


Essential Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex survey research activities including organizing and assigning of tasks, training of associates, contract compliance and revisions, revenue billing and forecasting, determining technical and staff needs, and assisting in writing of proposals
  • Obtain information and serve as primary contact with clients, suppliers, and additional internal departments
  • Interact with the supervisor and team members to obtain or provide information regarding current projects
  • Design surveys and data collection processes based on client needs
  • Conduct and interpret statistical analyses of data using SPSS, R or similar statistical language
  • Lead preparation of written findings, reports, and presentations, and assist with writing of journal research projects
  • Assume responsibility for accurate, timely completion of client projects.
  • Work with Director, Surveys Services to identify and develop business opportunities and service offerings in the Customer Satisfaction (CX) and/or Employee Opinion/360 Feedback markets

    Required Qualifications

  • Advanced degree, preferably M/A in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Social Science, Marketing Research, or related field
  • R or SPSS expertise
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

    •  

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience presenting to a non-technical audience
  • Three years project management experience

    Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to sit and/or stand for up to 8 hour periods of time
  • Ability to look at a computer monitor, utilize a keyboard and/or mouse for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds as necessary
